Talkin' the Pops

B: A hard rain's gonna fall. I can feel it comin' in the air tonight.
A: Who's that girl running around with you?
B: Her name is Rio, and she dances on the sand. She's so fine.
A: She's got beautiful eyes, and a risque mouth. Sweet dreams are made of this.
B: Watch out, boy, she'll chew you up. She's a killer queen.
A: I get knocked down, but I get up again. She used to be mine. Isn't it ironic?
B: That's just the way it is. Do you remember when we met?
A: We were only freshmen. Two American kids growin' up, in the heartland.
B: You know that Billie Joe McAllister jumped off the Tallahatchee Bridge.
A: Don't bring me down. Celebrate good times, c'mon! We built this city!
B: Turn the page, and they're closin' all the factories down.
A: Career opportunities, the ones that never knock.
B: We're not gonna take it! Get into my car!
A: You got a fast car!
B: ...de do do do, de da da da...
A: I smell sex and candy here. Love stinks.
B: Yeah, yeah. You oughta know. You better shape up.
A: I was gonna clean my room, but then I got high. I always feel like somebody's watching me.
B: Here in my car, I feel safest of all. My future's so bright, I gotta wear shades.
A: I wear my sunglasses at night. They say the neon lights are bright on Broadway. I'm in a New York state of mind.
B: New York's not my home. In my mind, I'm going to Carolina.
(beep beep)
B: Hello? How are you? Have you been all right? Beth, I hear you callin', but I can't come home right now.
A: Blame it on Rio!
B: (Hush, hush - keep it down now.) That's all right, mama. You are always on my mind. You are the sunshine of my life. Everything I do, I do it for you.
A: Whip it good!
B: Me and the boys are playin'. I got a brand new pair of rollerskates! I wanna rock and roll all night. Don't know when I'll be back again.
A: Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies. Don't stop believin'!
B: I want you. I want you so bad, baby. You can call me - call me anytime. 867-5309. Happy trails to you!
A: Your cheatin' heart will tell on you. You give love a bad name.
B: Everybody plays the fool, sometime; tempted by the fruit of another.
A: I'm in love, I'm all shook up. Sweet Jane. When a man loves a woman, he can't keep his mind on nothin' else. And all I really want is some peace now. Janie's got a gun.
B: Great balls of fire! I'm hungry like the wolf.
A: You can get anything you want, at Alice's Restaurant.
B: I'd like to buy the world a Coke. Gonna eat me a lot of peaches. Does your chewing gum lose its flavor on the bedpost overnight?
A: Go ask Alice, she'll know. She's a beauty. One in a million girl.
B: She's a maniac - maniac! - on the floor. Something in the way she moves. I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it. I'm radioactive! I can't get it out of my head! It's a living thing! Mamma Mia! ...Oops, I did it again! Wipeout!
A: You ain't nothin' but a hound dog. Lick it up!
